I am writing to you with regard to the movie review of ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’. This appeared on Sunday 24 August, written by Eric German.
Mr German states that KRS did not bother to get the 3D prints, are showing the flat 2D version, and are cheating the audience. If he had bothered to check, the only cinema on the island showing the movie in 3D is The Empire in Bugibba: this being the only cinema with the necessary equipment to show 3D movies. The other cinemas do not advertise the film as being 3D. This can be clearly seen in your movie guide in MaltaToday.
I strongly feel that Mr German should apologise in print to KRS. He states in his article that patrons should boycott this film for the disrespect KRS shows the public. In fact, Mr German is the one with no respect for making serious allegations without first checking the facts.
