St. Anne’s Clinic and Bupa sign agreement

GlobalCapital Health Insurance Agency Ltd, representatives of Bupa (Malta), and St. Anne’s Clinic have recently signed an agreement to simplify payment transactions by eliminating administrative burdens for Bupa members and by creating a direct payment channel between the insurer and the private providers.
The agreement was signed by Bupa Malta Manager Mrs Adriana Zarb Adami and Mrs Isabelle Vella on behalf of St. Anne’s Clinic. Established in 1996 as a family-run business, St. Anne’s Clinic has developed from a small premises with a few consulting rooms to an established private provider of medical care, including outpatient clinics, a radiology unit and a new operating theatre suite for minor and major operations. St. Anne’s Clinic believes in providing care and services with openness and concern for the welfare of the individual.
“Bupa operates in 190 countries around the world, including Malta. Bupa is committed to offering the very best choice in health care to its members in a professional, caring and understanding manner. Above all, Bupa strives to offer its members, cost-effective and affordable choices in private health care,” said Mrs. Zarb Adami.
“Bupa provides cover for customary and reasonable charges incurred by our members who seek private medical care, irrespective of where the private care is administered, in line with the level of cover purchased. The agreement with St. Anne’s Clinic comes in the wake of a series of similar agreements signed with other private providers over the last months” she added.
“We strive to work with all those who share our commitment, in the best interest of all concerned. In the meantime, we look forward to concluding more agreements with other providers of medical services”. Mrs. Zarb Adami reminded all Bupa members to call Bupa before undergoing any inpatient treatment, except for accidents and emergencies.
Ms Isabelle Vella, Managing Director, St Anne's Clinic, said that the opening of the new operating theatre at St Anne's is their latest milestone.  The theatre caters for all surgical specialities including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophtalmology, Cosmetic Surgery, Gyneacology, Gastroenterology and Dermatology.
“Everyone at St Anne's is enthusiastic about this new facility. We are certain that this facility will offer a wider choice for patients and the best medical care at affordable rates.”
Ms Vella thanked Bupa (Malta) for its continuous support and collaboration. Bupa constantly endeavours to deliver affordable, value-added and cost-effective solutions that guarantee peace of mind for its members.
