Justice a la Maltija

Wow, it only happens in Malta. Our judicial system lets out a foreign drug running low-life criminal to meet his mother in the comfort of a smart hotel, and after giving him preferential treatment at tax payers expense he tried to make a dash for it when being taken back to prison, and who gets the blame for it? Only the two accompanying warders, and then because he is a big man, as shown by the TVM evening news for about two minutes when coming out of the law courts laughing and sticking his fingers for all to see, making him out as a celebrity. He tried again to be aggressive with other prison warders, only this time he got his comeuppance and was slapped a bit. Again this time another four prison warders were sent to jail because they were doing their job. One has to ask who gave permission for this jailbird to be let out the first place. Isn’t our prison’s visiting room good enough for his mother, does she get special treatment because  she is foreign?
What a way to show that Malta is not only licking the British shoes like old times, but also another 25 (sic) countries called the EU. I hope that the magistrate who sent those innocent family men to prison will sleep well at night and dream of licking not shoes but wooden clogs and maybe about getting a bouquet of tulips from Amsterdam
