Hunters Palace
Return of fabled “folk with teeth” outfit Hunters Palace. The duo, Alex Vella Gera and Peter Sant, will be joined on this occasion by drummer and sound artist Vinicius Duarte. New material will be showcased on the night, as well as an old favourite or two. Concurrently, film and installation works by Peter Sant and Vinicius Duarte will be on show at the venue. Extreme Maltese Metal Festival
20 local bands will be divided into metal and rock stages during the festival, taking place at Montekristo Estates, Siggewi from 15:00. Entrance is at €20. EXHIBITIONS

Students display final-year projects
This is the seventh exhibition for the Institute since MCAST was set up in 2001. Over 115 projects using a wide range of resistant and non-resistant materials (e.g. textiles, limestone, ceramics, glass-reinforced plastics, wood, metal) form part of this year's exhibition. Projects on show come from a large selection of students from various courses on offer, namely: First Diploma in Art and Design, National Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design, National Diploma in Design Crafts, Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design and Higher National Diploma in 3D Design.

A bookart installation created by the current MA/MFA student artists and tutors working on the Fine Art master programmes at the University College for the Creative Arts, Kent UK. Taking place at the Painting Gallaries of the National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta. Open Monday to Sunday from 09.00 hrs - 17.00 hrs (last admission 16.30).
