Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
Teatru Qroqq presents Roald Dahl’s classic at St James Cavalier, directed by Marcelle Theuma. The April 26 performance will take place at 17:00 and the April 27 performance at 19:00. Tickets €8.50. Dù Theatre Group present an all-female, Maltese rendition – using Oliver Friggieri’s translation of the classic Euripides play at the MITP, St Christopher’s Street, Valletta. Cast includes Simone Spiteri, Franica Pulis, Kristjana Casha, Magda van Kuilenburg, Victoria Vella with Domenic Dimech as Jason; accompanied by live musical ensemble led by Tim Ellis, along with Chris Cini, Antoine Zammit and Gilbert Micallef. Gaulitana: A Festival of Music
Gozo’s Gaulitanus Choir’s second edition of Gaulitana, 12 concerts in various venues in Gozo featuring local and international acts ranging from the sacred to the folkloristic and from the pop to the classical, in which musical sounds are juxtaposed with the local cuisine.

April 25
White Russian 5tet
Multinational jazz quintet led by Sandro Zerafa launches their self-titled album at Warehouse no. 8, a bran -new venue in Marsa. Their music is a fusion of various influences ranging from folk to free-jazz, Keith Jarrett to the Beatles, Ornette Coleman to Thelonious Monk. DJ Danjeli will be keeping the mood alive after the band with a unique mix of jazz and electro.
