My name is Ibrahim Ramadan Gamber Shnishah. I have recently been convicted to life imprisonment after a jury that found me guilty of complicity in murder by six votes to three.
All I wanted was the truth. Unfortunately a number of people seemed more concerned with trying to establish what their imagination or instincts dictated. No one seemed interested in establishing the truth. I could sense an atmosphere of anger. I can only speak for myself, but I want to make one point amply clear - I have no prior knowledge of the crime I was charged with. I am completely innocent.
I would like Alfie Rizzo’s family to know I had nothing to do with the death of Alfie Rizzo. I sincerely hoped the Court would establish my innocence to clear my name once and for all. Unfortunately I will have to wait till Allah decides.
