Instant access to bank statements with BOV

Electronic Statements offer the convenience and security to Internet Banking subscribers to receive their periodic Bank statements electronically via Internet Banking rather than through the regular post. Customers are thus able to benefit from increased efficiency and prompt access to their banking records. In the case of the BOV e-statement facility, as soon as a statement is available, subscribers receive a notification in their electronic mailbox and the new statement can be downloaded for printing, or to be electronically stored on hard drive or CD. By subscribing to the e-statement service, customers can benefit from a number of advantages.

Benefits of the BOV e-Statement service for personal clients include:
• A fast and safe way to receive statements;
• The possibility to reconcile a statement faster, because it is automated - there is no need to wait for the postal service and no more delays due to weekends or holidays;
• Reduced paper handling;
• Added comfort and security since one may access the statement from anywhere, anytime including one’s home or office;
• Receipt of statements on the same cycle date like paper statements;
• The service is available free of charge;
• Increasing statement frequency without paying any fees;
• The possibility to request an annual official bank statement showing all transactions free of charge;
• The convenience of being able to view images of encashed cheques.

In addition to the above, corporate clients can benefit from:
Greater flexibility – Importing transactions from BOV Internet Banking could eliminate the need to re-key the same data for electronic reconciliation or analysis: data can be saved in MS Money format, Quicken format and ASCII (CSV) format.
Space savings - e-statements may even reduce back office administrative costs in filing or duplicating statements for other departments.
Customers who apply for electronic statements or pay their bills or third parties through the BOV 24x7 Services will also be automatically eligible to participate in a lottery with a chance to win one of eight Philips Home Cinema systems. The lottery will run between the 16th August and 15th December 2004 and is open to all BOV 24x7 services subscribers paying their bills or third parties through any BOV 24x7 Services Channels and those receiving electronic bank statements.
The BOV 24x7 Services offer an easy and quick method of controlling finances anywhere, anytime. This may be done through any of the Bank’s 24x7 Services, namely BOV Internet Banking, Telephone Banking, Customer Service Centre and Mobile Banking.

Through the BOV 24x7 Services customers can:
• Check account balances
• View / request bank statements
• Transfer funds between own accounts
• Pay bills and third parties holding accounts with any local bank
• Transfer funds to foreign banks
• View / order images of encashed cheques, and more . . .
