New unjustified tariffs at the National Pool Complex

At the beginning of August I went for a two hour swim at the National Swimming Pool Complex with some friends of mine as I have been doing for the past three years during the summer season.
To my surprise, upon entry, the person at reception informed me that according to the new tariffs, the price I had to pay was Lm2.50 instead of the normal Lm1.00 that I used to pay. He also informed us that we needed a legal guardian or else we could not enter. We were given a set of regulations which practically felt like entering into a prison camp.
The person at reception also gave us a price list which included a membership of Lm5 for a full week. If one had to divide this by seven then the price should be 70c for a full day. Can someone please explain to me why the price is Lm2.50 for a full day? The same differences apply for the prices of adults.
This is not an increase in price… this is a rip off!
