Reference is made to the article that appeared in MaltaToday 18 July entitled ‘ADT gives away Lm500 number plates to its staff.’
Allow me to point out that the heading used by your journalist Mr Karl Schembri was very misleading and did not reflect the contents of the article it headlined.
It undoubtedly does not add credibility to your newspaper. The word ‘given’ should have appropriately been replaced by the term ‘loaned’ due to the fact that the personalised registration plates (and not number plates) were not in actual fact ‘given’ but ‘loaned’ to ADT employees.
