EU accession has positive effect on property in Malta

Frank Salt Real Estate Directors Grahame Salt and Douglas Salt, together with property consultant Robert D’Amato, have recently returned from two property exhibitions held in London, reporting a very positive feedback from British nationals wishing to purchase property in Malta and Gozo.
This was the first time that Frank Salt Real Estate was exhibiting Malta as an EU member state and this aroused further curiosity and interest from people looking to buy property overseas.
Other participating countries were Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Turkey, Florida and South Africa, amongst others. “Interest in new developments and farmhouses on Gozo is always high, but we have also received quite a number of requests for holiday apartments,” Salt comments.
British nationals are keen to seek a warmer climate and are aware of what Malta has to offer in terms of a very low crime-rate, it is English-speaking, very good residency conditions and very friendly and sociable Maltese people. “Spain is also blessed with bright sunshine and crystal clear seas, but Malta has other good qualities which distinguish it from the rest,” he adds.
During the exhibition, the company launched a beautifully designed new exhibition stand featuring eye-catching shots of Malta and Gozo, as well as of various properties on the company’s database.
Frank Salt Real Estate Limited will be attending the last three overseas property exhibitions scheduled for this year, in September, in the UK and Ireland.
