The PN and hunting derogations

In last Sunday’s MaltaToday you kindly published my reply to Mr Michael Falzon MP on the subject of the PN policy insofar as hunting derogations are concerned.
Although my untitled contribution was a letter to the Editor, I note that you have gratuitously entitled it ‘The PN loves hunters.’
That is a sweeping statement that I would not be so rash as to make since I know full well that there are countless Nationalists who would like to see the derogations revoked with a view to reducing the rampant and indiscriminate killing of birds over our islands.
The thrust of my two pieces on this subject was aimed at underlining the damage done to the PN MEP’s cause by the sweeping and unfortunate statement made by Mr Falzon.
If you found it necessary to give last Sunday’s piece a title, it would have been far more appropriate and I would have been far happier with ‘The PN and hunting derogations.’
