Falzon convinced me to vote Alternattiva

“Hunters can get what they want only through the election of PN MEPs,” – Michael Falzon, 02/05.2004
I am appalled, to say the least, to read Mr Falzon’s feeble attempt at trying to convince hunters to vote for the PN.
Mr Falzon never impressed me as a Minister – particularly in Education – and he certainly will not be in a position to impress anyone as an MEP because I am of the belief that he will never see Brussels in that job.
It seems he hasn’t yet got the message that the Maltese electorate gave him, in the last couple of elections.
With words like these, Mr Falzon is not only prostituting himself, but he is actually prostituting the whole Party he represents.
Not only that, but he is giving us yet another reason why we shouldn’t vote PN, this time. (I never ever dreamt that I would live to utter these words, but my intelligence and my lack of political allegiance demand it.)
It is therefore no great surprise to see, come the MEP Elections, once-staunch and right-down hardened PN voters deciding in the best interests of the little left that is Green in Malta. We want a healthy environment, and a healthy environment means one free of hunters and trappers. It is therefore to this end that I will vote for Arnold Cassola who represents Alternattiva Demokratika.
