Welcome back from Libya, open letter to Hon John Dalli

Noel Farrugia,
Opposition Spokesperson for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development
Rabat

On the occasion of your first visit as Foreign Minster of Malta to our neighbour country, Libya, I feel the duty to ask the following, so the answers will be public and transparent to both communities: What were the priorities discussed in the Mixed Commission between the two countries during the last year? What progress has been made and has anything been achieved regarding these priorities during your visit? What are the new priorities regarding the Mixed Commission for this new administration and how is the government proposing the function of this Mixed Commission in the light of the impending EU membership on the first of May?
I trust that, since I am unable to ask you these questions through Parliament at present, and I feel it is necessary for the public to be informed, you will feel able to give full and transparent answers as a responsible minister and help keep the people informed.
