Copenhagen - Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami had everything
to smile about on Friday when he officially received Malta’s
invitation to join the EU on 1 May 2004. It was part-fulfilment
of his long standing ambition to take the country into the European
Union. And with Malta benefiting from a net gain of 194 million
euros (Lm81 million) over three years the Prime Minister is more
